How much does a website actually cost? Our three, fixed prices — no surprises
“How much for a website?” is the question every business owner asks and almost nobody in web design actually answers — at least not with a number.
Most agencies want a discovery call before they’ll say anything. Most freelancers quote differently depending on who’s asking. And most “from £X” pricing on other sites turns out to mean from £X, plus a laundry list of add-ons you find out about later.
We built our pricing the other way round: three fixed packages, published on the site, so you can work out roughly what you’ll pay before you’ve even picked up the phone.
The three tiers
Launch — from £450, plus £15/month
For sole traders and new businesses who just need to exist online properly: a clean, mobile-friendly site with up to five pages, a working contact form, and basic SEO set up from day one. Two rounds of revisions are included, and most Launch sites are live within two to three weeks.
This is the right starting point if you’ve been putting off “getting a website done” for months because every quote you’ve had back has been vague, expensive, or both.
Grow — from £950, plus £22/month
Our most-chosen package, and the right fit for an established business that’s outgrown a single-page site. Up to ten pages, booking or enquiry forms, a blog or news section (handy for exactly this kind of article), local SEO for your area, and your Google Business Profile set up properly. Three rounds of revisions, live in four to six weeks.
If you’re already getting customers through word of mouth and want a website that actually works as hard as you do, this is usually the one.
Scale — from £1,950, plus £35/month
For businesses selling online or managing bookings and memberships. Everything in Grow, plus a proper online store or booking system, payment integration, a training session for your team, and a priority support line. Live in six to ten weeks depending on how much content there is to build around.
What’s actually included in the monthly fee
The one-off price covers the build. The monthly fee — £15, £22, or £35 depending on tier — covers hosting, nightly backups, security updates, uptime monitoring, and small ongoing changes like text or image swaps. Bigger changes are quoted separately, always up front, never as a surprise line on an invoice.
And because it’s a genuine monthly rolling cost rather than a locked-in annual contract, you can cancel any time. The site is still yours — files, domain, and hosting logins get handed over in full if you ever want to move it elsewhere. No lock-in, no ransom for your own website.
Why fixed pricing, when everyone else quotes bespoke
Because “it depends” isn’t useful to someone trying to budget for a website. We’d rather tell you upfront what Launch, Grow, and Scale cost, and let you self-select the right one, than have you sit through a sales call to find out.
That doesn’t mean every project is identical — if what you need doesn’t map cleanly onto one of the three tiers, we’ll say so and give you a proper custom quote. But for the vast majority of Hampshire small businesses, one of these three covers it.
A note for charities and community groups
Several of the businesses we already build and host for are Scout groups and local charities, so if that’s you, ask about our reduced local rate before assuming Launch, Grow, or Scale is out of budget.
Ready to pick one?
If you already know which tier fits, get in touch here and we’ll come back to you within two working days with a proper, fixed quote — no obligation, no sales call required first.
If you’re still not sure, that’s a completely normal place to be — drop us a message and we’ll help you work out which one actually fits what you need, rather than upselling you into the biggest package.
